چهلا छल्ला ćhallā
H چهلا छल्ला ćhallā [S. चक्कल+कः or चक्र+ल+कः], s.m. A plain ring (of gold, silver, or other metal, worn on a finger or toe):—ćhallā-ćhipauwal or ćhupauwal, s.m. A game in which one of a party or side hides a ring in his hand, and one of an opposite party has to guess in whose hand the ring is:—ćhalle-joṛ, s.m. A ring consisting of three rings joined together, the two outer ones being plain, and the middle one having interstices:—ćhalle-dār, adj. Having rings; ringed, annular;—articulate; vertebrate;—having rings or spots of grease or oil on the surface (as soup, water, &c.), greasy.
