H داڙهي दाढ़ी dāṛhī, दाढ़ि dāṛhi [Prk. दाढिआ; S. दाढिका or दंष्ट्रिका], s.f. Beard (=ḍāṛhī); awn; tendril:—dāṛhī banānā, To shave the beard:—dāṛhī ćhoṛnā, To let the beard grow:—dāṛhī dhūp-meṅ sufaid karnā, lit. 'To whiten (one's) beard in the sun'; to be wanting in experience, or wisdom, or judgment:—dāṛhī khuwānā, v.n. To give up shaving the beard:—dāṛhī munḍnā = dāṛhī banānā.

H دودهي दूधी dūdhī [Prk. दुद्धिआ; S. दुग्धिका], s.f. The breast (esp. of a mother or nursing woman);—starch;—name of several plants with milky juice (as various species of Asclepias, Echites, Euphorbia, &c.; see duddhī).
