P دريائی daryāʼī [daryā, q.v.+ī = Zend aêna = S. इन्], adj. Of or belonging to the sea or river, marine, maritime:—daryāʼī ādmī, s.m. A merman:—daryāʼī totā, s.m. 'Sea-parrot,' the flamingo (=rāj-hāṅs):—daryāʼī ghoṛā, s.m. 'Sea-horse,' the hippopotamus:—daryāʼī nāriyal, s.m. The sea cocoa-nut (=daryā-kā nāriyal).
