Good fortune, prosperity, happy state or condition, happiness, felicity; riches, wealth;—state, government, monarchy, empire, sovereignty, dominion, rule;—cause, occasion, effect, means:—daulat-ḵẖāna, s.m. lit. 'House of fortune'; a mansion, palace, house (in polite speech, e.g. āp-kā daulat-ḵẖāna kahāṅ hai, 'Where is your house?'):—daulat-ḵẖāna-ě-ḵẖās, A royal residence, the king's palace:—daulat-ḵẖẉāh, adj. & s.m. Wishing happiness or prosperity or empire, loyal;—a well-wisher, a loyal subject (com. applied by the writer of a letter or petition to himself in the sense of 'I' or 'me'):—daulat-ḵẖẉāhī, s.f. The wishing happiness or prosperity or empire, good wishes, goodwill, loyalty:—daulat-sarā, s.f.=daulat-ḵẖāna, q.v.:—daulat-madār, s.m.
