داب dāb

A داب dāb [inf. n. of دأب 'to strive,' &c.], s.m. Custom, manner, habit, wont; institution; affair, business, concern; case, state, condition;—the act of driving vehemently; vehement or forcible propulsion:—dāb-ě-ṣǒḥbat, s.m. Good manners; civilization.

داب दाब dāb v.n. fr. dābnā, q.v.
