H دهوتي धोती dhotī [prob. S. अधो+वस्त्र+इका], s.f. A cloth worn round the waist, passing between the legs and tucked in behind:—dhotī-band, dhotī-prasād, s.m. One who wears a dhotī; (contemp.) a Hindū (esp. a Brāhman, or a Baniyā).
