P دق daq (prob. fr. A. دقّ), s.m. Woollen cloth from which hairs hang, a coarse kind of woollen cloth (such as that of which a faqīr's blanket is made);—a fine and precious sort of cloth.

ڐاك डाक ḍāk

H ڐاك डाक ḍāk [prob. S. दाहकः; rt. दह्; cf. ḍahnā], s.m. A piece of gold or silver leaf, &c. placed under a gem (in a ring) to heighten its brilliance, a foil; a coloured substance placed under glass to form a mock gem (=ḍāṅk).
