A دوري दौरी daurī, दोरी dorī [Prk. दोलिआ; S. दोल+इका], s.f. A rope with which a string of cattle are bound together (as bullocks, when threshing, &c.); a ashing-line; a line with which lands are measured (=ḍoṛī);—a small flat basket (without a lid); a sling-basket (used in irrigation).

H ڐوري डोरी ḍorī [ḍor, q.v.+Prk. इआ=S. इका], s.f. String, cord (=ḍor, ḍorā);—a fillet of thread or cord tied round the arm or wrist (=ḍorak);—line or chain (used in measuring land); braid:—ḍorī-wālā, or ḍorī-hār, s.m. A rope-maker; a rope-seller; a pedlar (who sells thread, cord, braid, &c.).
