Freedom (from business, &c.), cessation (from work, &c.), finishing and ceasing (from), disengagedness, leisure, rest, repose; freedom from care or anxiety, ease, convenience, comfort, tranquillity, happiness; easy circumstances, competency, affluence, abundance;—easing oneself, a call of nature:—farāg̠at pānā (-se), To obtain freedom (from), to have finished (with), have done (with); to get leisure:—farāg̠at phirnā or farāg̠at jānā, v.n. To go to ease oneself, to go to the rear:—farāg̠at-se, adv. Leisurely, at ease, easily, comfortably:—farāg̠at karnā (-se), To finish and cease (from); to make an end (of):—farāg̠at lagnā (-ko), To have a call of nature:—farāg̠at-meṅ, adv.
