P فرشي farshī (rel. n. fr. farsh), adj. Of or relating to a carpet, or a floor; reaching down to the carpet or floor;—flat, even; flat bottomed;—s.f. A kind of ḥuqqa (=farshī ḥuqqa, q.v.):—farshī jūtā, s.m. A slipper:—farshī ḥuqqa, s.m. A large ḥuqqa with a flat bottom which stands on the ground (in contradistinction to a small one which is carried in the hand):—farshī salām, s.m. A bow or obeisance made down to the carpet or the floor, a very low bow.
