P گاه gāh [Pehl. gāś; old P. gāthu; Zend gātu; S. गातु, rt. गा], s.f. Place (used in comp.);—time; turn;—adv. Sometime:—gāh-be-gāh, or gāh-o-be-gāh, adv. In season and out of season, at all seasons, frequently; occasionally, now and then, rarely:—gāh-gāh, or gāh-gāhe, adv. Some time or other, at times, sometimes, now and then; again and again, repeatedly, frequently:—shikār-gāh, s.f. A place proper for hunting, hunting-ground:—ʻibādat-gāh, s.f. Place of worship; mosque; church; synagogue; temple:—nā-gāh, adv. Suddenly.
