One who has bell-like ears; one whose ears are decorated with bells;—name of an attendant of Skanda;—one of Śiva's attendants (he is supposed to preside over cutaneous complamts, and is worshipped for exemption from them in the month Ćaitra);—name of a Piśāća attendant on Kuvera:—ghaṇṭā-ghar, s.m. A bell-tower;—clock-tower.
