Hollo there! hold! avaunt! be off!—the sound uttered by pālkī-bearers when at work.

Yes, yes; yes to be sure, &c.:—hāṅ-hāṅ karnā, or hāṅ-hūṅ (or hūṅ-hāṅ) karnā, To say 'yes, yes';—to hum and haw:—hāṅ-hī, adv. (emphatic) Yes, yes indeed, yea verily.
