H هل हल hal [Prk. हलं; S. हलं], s.m. A plough (i.q. har):—halāyudh (˚la+āy˚), s.m. (lit. 'plough-weaponed'), An epithet of Balarām (as bearing a peculiar weapon shaped like a ploughshare;—syn. hala-dhar):—hal-barār, s.f., or hal-sārī, s.f.
