حتي ḥatta

A حتي ḥatta, prep. & conj., To, up to, as far as, to the time of, to the extent of; till, until; until that, that, in order that, to the end that, so that; in such a manner, and thus:—ḥatta-ki, conj. Until that; so that; insomuch that, &c.:—ḥattaʼl-imkān = ḥattaʼl-maqdūr = ḥattaʼl-wusʻ, To the extent of, or to the best of, one's power, or ability, or means; as far as lies in (one's) power; to one's utmost.
