حي ḥaiy v.n. fr. حيّ 'to live'

A حي ḥaiy (v.n. fr. حيّ 'to live'), adj. Having life, living, alive:—ḥaiy-qaiyūm, and ḥaiy-lā-yamūt, adj. Eternal; immortal, imperishable.
