هنڐيا हंडिया haṅḍiyā

H هنڐيا हंडिया haṅḍiyā = H هنڐي हंडीं haṅḍī [Prk. भंडिआ; S. भाण्डिका, whence हण्डिका], s.f. A small earthen boiler or pot (i.q. hāṅḍī);—a relish:—haṅḍiyā paknā, 'The pot to boil'; (meat, &c.) to be cooked; (a scheme, &c.) to be concocted:—haṅḍiyā ćaṛhnā, v.n. The pot to be put on (the fire); to earn;—to take bribes;—to fill one's pockets:—haṅḍiyā garm honā, 'The pot to be hot or boiling'; to earn; to be making money fast; to take bribes:—haṅḍiyā-ḍoʼī, s.f. Pots and pans, cooking utensils.
