perplexed, bewildered, distracted, confounded, astonished (at, -se), disturbed; harassed, plagued, worried, distressed:—ḥairān karnā, v.t. To confound, perplex, bewilder; to astonish, amaze; to worry, &c.:—ḥairān-o-sar-gardān, adj. Wandering about in a distracted or bewildered state of mind.
