H هوا हुआ huʼā, (dialec.) हुवा huwā, हउआ haʼuʼā, and होआ hoʼā [Ap. Prk. हुआ (for हुइआ), Prk. भविदओ=S. भव (fr. भू)+इत+कः], perf. part. (of honā; f. huʼī), Become; (as a finite verb) became; has become; was;—happened; passed, or has passed (and hence it may often be rendered 'since; ago,' e.g. ek baras huʼā, 'a year ago'):—huʼā so huʼā, '(What) has happened has happened'; let bygones be bygones.
