H اس इस is [S. अस्य, gen. sing. neut., base इदं], The Formative sing., or the base of the oblique cases sing. of the prox. demonstr. pron. يه yah, yěh, 'this':—is baras, adv. This year:—is-pār, adv. This bank (of a river); this side:—is pār-se us pār pheṅk-denā, or -karnā, v.t. To put aside, put off, postpone for a long time:—is-par, -pe, adv. Upon this, hereupon:—is-par bhī, adv. To enjoy oneself; to revel in pleasure, or in sensual enjoyments:—ʻaish-kā banda, s.m. The slave of pleasure; a sensualist, a sybarite:—ʻaish-gāh, s.f. or ʻaish-maḥal, s.m. Place or house of enjoyment or pleasure;—ʻaish-maḥal, Banqueting-house;—the inner or women's apartments of the house of a person of wealth or rank:—ʻaish-o-jaish, s.m.
