جيتا जीता jītā

H جيتا जीता jītā [S. जेता], adj. Over, above, more, in excess:—jītā honā, v.n. To be over, to exceed, be in excess.

جوتا जोता jotā

H جوتا जोता jotā [jot˚, q.v.+ā = iʼā = iwā = Prk. इअव्वअं or एअव्वअं=S. (इ)तव्य+कं], s.m. A ploughman, cultivator, husbandman, agriculturist:—jotā-dār, s.m. Idem.

جوٿا जोटा joṭā

H جوٿا जोटा joṭā [Prk. जुट्टअं; S. युक्त+कं], s.m.=joṭ, and joṛā, qq.v.

جيتا जीता jītā

H جيتا जीता jītā, s.m. Mutual assistance in tillage; allowing the use of a plough and bullocks instead of paying wages in money or kind (=jīterā).
