ذوي ẕawī

A ذوي ẕawī, s.m. pl. (accus. of ẕū; like which it is used), Possessors, owners, &c.;—having, possessed of, endowed with:—ẕawiʼl-arḥām, Relatives by the mother's side:—ẕawiʼl-iqtidār, adj. Powerful (=ẕuʼl-qadr):—ẕawiʼl-ikrām, adj. Held in veneration.

H جوا जवा jawā [S. यवकः], adj. & s.m. Of the size or shape of a barley-corn;—barley, &c. (=jau); a figure or mark (resembling a barley-corn) in the joints of the fingers (=jau); a clove of garlic; a kind of stitch in needle-work:—jauʼā, s.m. A kind of small grub or worm:—jawe-dār, adj. Made with golden bits of the size and form of a barley-corn (a chain, &c.); sewed with the stitch termed jawā:—jawā-khār, s.m.=java-khār, q.v.s.v. jau:—jawā-haṛ, s.f. A very small species of the yellow Myrobalan (haṛ or halela).
