کافر kāfir act. part. of کفر 'to be unbelieving,' c.

A کافر kāfir (act. part. of کفر 'to be unbelieving,' &c.), adj. & s.m. Infidel, impious; ungrateful;—one denying God, an infidel, an impious wretch;—a Caffre; (met.) a mistress, sweetheart:—kāfir kurtī, s.f. A coat cut after the European pattern:—kāfir-ě-něʻmat, adj. Ungrateful for benefits.
