H کهڙکانا खड़काना khaṛkānā, or खुड़काना khuṛkānā (caus. of khaṛaknā), v.t. To knock or rap at, to thump, to rattle or shake (a chain, &c.),—to slam (a door, &c.);—to frighten away, to scare (by rattling, or other like noise);—to warn, to apprize (by rapping, or rattling, &c.).
