P خاك ḵẖāk (cf. S. क्षारक), s.f. Dust, earth; ashes;—little, precious little, none at all, nothing whatever (e.g. to kām kyā ḵẖāk hotā hogā, 'What precious little work will be doing'; ḵẖāk jāntā hai, 'He knows nothing whatever');—intj. Out (upon)! away (with)! a fig (for)! &c. (e.g. ḵẖāk aisī zindagī-par):—ḵẖāk uṛāte phirnā, v.n.
