H انگوٿ लंगोट laṅgoṭ [Prk. लिंगवट्टो=S. लिङ्ग+पट्ट:], s.m. A waist-cloth; a cloth worn between the legs to conceal the privites (a strip of cloth about two feet long and six or eight inches broad, passed between the legs, and the ends tucked into a waist-band before and behind):—laṅgoṭ bāṅdhnā, To tie (or put) on a laṅgoṭ; to gird up one's loins (for, -par):—laṅgoṭ-band, s.m. A bandage to which the laṅgoṭ is fastened;—one devoted to celibacy (lit. 'one who keeps his laṅgoṭ fastened'), a confirmed bachelor:—laṅgoṭ-phal, s.m. Membrum virile:—laṅgoṭ-kā saććā, s.m.
