لڙ लड़ laṛ

H لڙ लड़ laṛ [prob. Prk. लट्टी=S. यघ्टिः], s.f. A string (of pearls, &c.); a thread; a strand (of a rope or cord); a row, line, series; a chain;—a party, side; (in Bot.) ament, catkin:—laṛ-jaṛ, s.m. pl. Relations, kinsmen, family, children;—a parasite:—laṛ milānā (-se), To unite (with), form a friendship (with):—lar-meṅ rahnā (-kī), To be in the party (of), be on the side (of); to remain (with); to be in the pay (of).
