H مندر मन्दिर mandir, or मन्दर mandar [S. मन्दिरं], s.m. A habitation, dwelling, house, mansion, palace; the dwelling of Hindū ascetics (as takiya is that of Muhammadan faqīrs); a temple, pagoda;—(fig.) the body;—a town;—the sea;—the back of the knee:—mandir-sewak, s.m. (f. -ikā), Temple-servant:—dev-mandir, s.m. A temple, pagoda:—rāj-mandir, s.m. A royal residence, a palace.
منڐير मुँडेर muṅḍer
H منڐير मुँडेर muṅḍer [Prk. मुंडइल्लो; S. मुण्ड+इलः], s.m. & f. = H منڐيرا मुंडेरा muṅḍerā [Prk. मुंडइल्लओ; S. मुण्ड+इल+कः], s.m. = H منڐيري मुंडेरी muṅḍerī [Prk. मुंडइल्लिआ; S. मुण्ड+इल+इका], s.f. Coping (of a wall, &c.); a parapet-wall (syn. kaṅgurā);—ridge (of a roof):—muṅḍerī bāṅdhnā (-kī), To cope (a wall);—to make a parapet, &c.
