P مرتبت martabat, s.f. = P مرتبه martaba, s.m. (v.n. fr. رتب 'to be or become firm, or steady,' &c.), Step, degree; station, post of honour, rank, condition, dignity, office, charge; class, order (syn. rutba);—time, turn:—is martabe-tak, To this degree:—ek martaba, One time, once:—kamāl martaba, adv. To (or in) perfection, perfectly, completely:—kaʼī martaba, adv. Several times, repeatedly.
