A مسخ masḵẖ, (inf. n. of مسخ 'to change, to metamorphose,' &c.), s.m. Changing, metamorphosing into a more deformed shape (as men into apes);—adopting the thoughts of another, but changing some of his words; plagiarism;—emaciating; galling (the back of an animal) by excessive labour;—adj. Changed into a meaner form, metamorphosed; ugly, misshapen:—masḵẖ honā, v.n. To be changed into a meaner form, to be metamorphosed.
