A مدلل mudallil (act. part. of دلّل, ii of (and syn. with) دلّ 'to use amorous gesture or dalliance (towards),' &c.), act. part. & s.m. Practising amorous gestures or dalliance, dallying; fondling; coaxing, wheedling;—a dallier, fondler; coaxer, wheedler:—mudallal (pass. part. of the same verb, prob. derived from dalīl, q.v.), part. Supported by evidence, proof, or argument; well-grounded, reasonable.
