A مثبت mus̤bit (act. part. of اثبت 'to establish,' &c., iv of ثبت 'to remain fixed,' &c.), part. adj. Establishing, fixing; confirming, ratifying; affirmative; demonstrative;—s.m. An unlooked-for disaster or affliction.
