Anxious to profit (in any science, or study, &c.); intent on the acquisition (of wealth, or knowledge, &c.); imparting advantage or benefit; advantageous, benefiting;—gaining, profiting, acquiring;—a student;—one who imparts advantage;—a gainer:—mustafīd honā (-se), To derive benefit or advantage (from), to profit (by).
