A مجال majāl (n. of place fr. جال (for جول), 'to go round or round about'), s.f. Place, room, scope;

opportanity;—strength, power, ability, authority:—majāl rakhnā (-kī), or majāl honā (-ko of person, and kī of thing), To have the power (to), &c.:—kyā majāl hai, What power has he? What can he do?

A معزول maʻzūl (pass. part. of عزل 'to remove, depose, displace,' &c.), part. Removed, deposed, displaced, dismissed (from office); degraded; dethroned:—maʻzūl karnā, or kar-denā, v.t. To remove, discharge, or dismiss (-se, from office), to depose; to dethrone; to degrade, or disgrace:—maʻzūl honā (-se), To be removed, or dismissed (from), &c.
