H نبهہ नभ nabh [Prk. नभं; S. नभस्], s.m. The sky, atmosphere, heaven, firmament; space; ether (as one of the five elements);—a name of the month Sāwan (July-August):—nabh-ćar, adj. & s.m. (f. -ī), 'Sky-going,' moving in the air, aerial;—an inhabitant of heaven; a god; a demi-god (vidyā-dhar);—a bird;—a cloud:—nabh-sthit, adj. (f. -ā), Abiding in heaven or the sky; situated in the sky;—s.m. Name of one of the divisions of hell:—nabh-ga, or nabhag, adj. & s.m.
