H نيند नींद nīṅd [Prk. निद्दा; S. निद्रा], s.f. Sleep:—nīṅd ućaṭnā, or nīṅd ućāṭ honā, v.n. Sleep to be dissipated, or to vanish; to have one's sleep broken; to be unable to sleep:—nīṅd ānā or ā-jānā (-ko), 'Sleep to visit the eyes,' to feel sleepy:—nīṅd-bhar, adj. Having had abundance of sleep:—nīṅd-bhar-sonā, or nīṅd-bhar-ke sonā, v.n. To sleep soundly; to have one's fill of sleep; to be at ease:—nīṅd ḥarām karnā (kisī-kī), To disturb the sleep (of):—nīṅd-meṅ honā, v.n. To be sleepy.
