H پٿکاपटकाpaṭkā [S. पट, or पट्ट+कः], s.m. A cloth worn round the waist, girdle, sash, belt; a layer of mortar in a brick wall:—paṭkā bāṅdhnā (-par), To gird up the loins (for), to prepare (for), or determine (on, an act, enterprise, &c.):—paṭkā pakaṛnā (-kā), 'To seize the belt (of); to hinder, hold back, prevent, obstruct.

H پٿکيपटकीpaṭkī, (dim.) s.f. Fall, &c.=paṭaknī; paṭkan:—paṭkī denā, v.t. To throw down, &c.=paṭaknā denā.
