H پهونك फूंक phūṅk (v.n. of phūṅknā, q.v.), s.f. The act of blowing; blowing, or blowing up (fire, &c.);—breath, breath of air; blow, puff, whiff, blast:—phūṅk nikal-jānā, v.n. To be out of breath, the breath to escape, to expire.

H پهانك फांक phāṅk [S. प्रक्षिप्त; or प्राश+क], s.m. As much of anything as can be thrown or taken into the mouth; bit, piece, slice (of fruit), flake; a clove (of garlic);—cut, opening, aperture (in fruit, &c.):—phāṅk mārnā, v.t. To chuck (grain, &c.), into the mouth (=phāṅknā).
