H پالنا पालना pālnā [pāl˚ = Prk. पाले(इ), or पाल(इ)=S. पालय(ति), caus. of rt. पा], v.t. To protect, &c. (see pālan);—s.m. (f. -ī), An adopted son:—pāl-rakhnā, v.t.=pālnā:—pālne-wālā, s.m. (f. -ī), Protector, &c.=pālan-hār.
