To ask (of, -se), to inquire (of), to question, interrogate; to refer (to), to consult; to ask or inquire after (in this and the following senses pūćhnā governs the dative form of the accusative instead of the ablative); to care (about), feel concern (for); to mind, heed, regard, take notice (of); to invite; to help, assist:—pūćh-lenā (-se), To inquire of, &c.=pūćhnā.
