A subject; subjects, people; tenant; cultivator, peasant; follower, dependant:—raʻīyat-āzār, adj. & s.m. Subject-oppressing, tyrannous;—an oppressor, a tyrant:—raʻīyat-parwar, s.m. Cherisher or protector of subjects, or tenants, &c.; a benevolent sovereign or landlord:—raʻīyat-parwarī, s.f.
