A handle, helve, haft, hilt; a pestle; a handful, bundle; a bundle of twenty-four arrows; a quire (of paper); a hank or skein (of silk, thread, &c.), a clew; a nosegay; a flower-bed; a kind of button (sewn on the qabā or coat); division of an army, brigade, squadron:—dasta-dār, s.m.
