رس ras

P رس ras [rt. of ras-īdan = Pehl. raś = Zend rāś; cf. S. ऋष्], act. part. & s.m. Arriving, happening; touching at; causing to arrive;—one to whom (a thing) arrives (used as last member of compounds, e.g. dād-ras; faryād-ras; qq.v.s.v. dād, and faryād respectively).

H دس दस das [Prk. दस; S. दश], adj. Ten:—das baras-kā, adj. (f. -ī), Ten years old; for ten years, decennial:—das-sāla, adj.=das baras-kā, q.v.:—dasoṅ, obl. pl., or pl. formative, of das, The whole ten, all ten, the ten:—dasoṅ disā or diśā, s.f.=daśoṅ diśā; see s.v. daś for this and other compounds.

ڐس डस ḍas

H ڐس डस ḍas [S. दशा], s.f.m.(?) The string by which scales are suspended or held in the hand;—the threads of the warp at the end of a piece of cloth which are left unwoven; the end of a piece of cloth.

ديس देस des

H ديس देस des [Prk. देसो; S. देशः], s.m. Place, spot, country, &c. (=deś, q.v.);—2˚ A kind of rāg sung at midnight (cf. deśākh and deśkār).

ريش resh
