H سڙا सड़ा saṛā [perf. part. of saṛnā, q.v.;—and=Prk. सडिअओ, सडअओ; S. शदित+कः], adj. (f. -ī), Decayed, decomposed, putrid, rotten, musty, fetid, stinking.
صدا ṣadā
A صدا ṣadā, s.f. Echo; sound, noise; voice, tone, cry, call; (among Khattrīs, by whom it is corr. pron. saddā) an invitation (to a marriage ceremony, or a feast):—ṣadā (corr. saddā) denā (-ko), To call or invite (to a marriage ceremony, &c.):—ṣadā lagānā, v.n. To cry, call out (as vendors of wares, mendicants, &c.); to beg.
