A صريح ṣarīḥ (v.n. fr. صرح 'to be pure, or clear,' &c.), adj. & adv. Clear, apparent, evident, manifest, plain, palpable; gross;—clearly, plainly, evidently, &c.; out and out, absolutely, altogether, in toto (e.g. ṣarīḥ mukarnā, 'to deny absolutely or in toto'):—ṣarīḥ-se, adv. Clearly, &c. (=ṣarīḥ).
