A سنا sanā (v.n. fr. سنو or سنی 'to irrigate,' &c.), s.m. The common senna of medicine, Cassia senna; Senna italica:—sanā-makkī, s.m. Senna of Mecca, Cassia lanceolata.

ثنا s̤anā

A ثنا s̤anā, s.f. Praise, eulogy, commendation, applause (it differs from ḥamd in having for its object either the Deity or man, whereas ḥamd is restricted to the Deity):—s̤anā-ḵẖẉān, adj. & s.m. Repeating praise, praising;—one who praises, praiser; s̤anā-gustar, adj. & s.m. Scattering praise;—one who scatters praise:—s̤anā-gustarī, s.f. The scattering of praise.

سينا सेना senā

H سينا सेना senā [S. सैनिकः], s.m. The commander of a body of troops;—an officer who collects the revenue (in a village).
