سپاه sipāh

P سپاه sipāh [old P. śpāda; Pehl. śpāh; Zend śpādha; cf. S. पदाति, and H. piyādā], s.f. Soldiery, soldiers; troops, forces, army:—sipāh-sālār (or sipah-sālār), s.m. Commander of an army, a general:—sipāh- (or sipah-) garī, s.f. The military profession, soldiering; military tactics.

سيف saif

A سيف saif, s.f. A sword:—saif-bān, s.m. A rocket which has a sword attached to its tail:—saif-zabān, adj. & s.m. Having a tongue like a sword;—one who possesses effective spells; one whose curses prevail.
