A medicine used in the milk-fever (parsotī) of lying-in women:—suhāg-bharī, adj. f. Beloved, favourite, happy (wife):—suhāg-piṭārā or suhāg-puṛā, s.m. A basket, or a paper folded in the shape of a sugar-loaf, containing cosmetics, paints, perfumes, a comb, bangles and other ornaments, and fruits, &c., presented by a bridegroom to his bride:—suhāg ćhinnā or suhāg utarnā (-), To be deprived of coverture (a woman), to become a widow:—suhāg-sej, s.f.
