H تڙکا तड़का taṛkā [taṛak, q.v.+S. कः], s.m. lit. 'A cleaving, breaking'; break of day, dawn, early morning:—taṛkā honā, v.n. To be day-break, to dawn;—to be broken, become bankrupt, to be reduced to poverty; to be roused, have the eyes opened, be brought to one's senses; to be astonished or astounded:—taṛke, adv. At dawn or day-break, in the early morning, early.
