H ٿانگ टांग ṭāṅg [S. टङ्गं], s.f. The leg (from the hip to the foot); a share (=ṭāṅk); a fourth part, a quarter (in the language of brokers):—tāṅg uṭhānā, v.n. 'To raise the leg'; to copulate:—ṭāṅg aṛānā or aṛā-denā (-meṅ), To step in obtrusively, to interfere (in), intermeddle:—ṭāṅg-bal, s.m. 'Leg force or twist'; a trick in wrestling:—ṭāṅg-tale-se nikalnā (-), To pass under the legs (of); to funk, to fail; to forfeit; to submit, yield:—ṭāṅg denā (-ko), 'To give the leg' (to); to invite, or to yield to, the embraces (of a lover); to be a catamite:—ṭāṅg lenā (-), To seize or lay hold of the leg (a dog, &c.):—ṭāṅgeṅ rah-jānā, v.n. The legs to give way or fail; to have gout in the legs.
